A variety of wind, stringed, and percussion instruments are used for dancing in Moldva, including the hegedű (fiddle), furulya (short flute), kaval (long flute), tilinkó (overtone flute), koboz (lute), dob (drum), levél síp (leaf whistle), and doromb (mouth harp).
